Senior Manager, Sales (CPG/Health)

We're looking for a Senior Manager to lead the Health & CPG business on our Emerging Sales team. As a senior leader on the Emerging Sales team, you will manage a group of categories and subcategories, including Heath and Fitness, Beauty, Food and Beverage, Home and Pet Care. 

You will need to have natural leadership skills; the ability to coach, develop, and challenge your direct reports including people managers; and strong senior level client-facing skills. You should have a deep understanding of the performance of top accounts at Snap and a point of view on how to accelerate growth in these verticals over the next 12-24 months. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the CPG industry and its agency ecosystem.

What you'll do:

  • Lead a high-performing sales team with an emphasis on revenue growth stemming from brand building, direct response, sponsorships and strategic partnerships within the Health and CPG verticals

  • Develop and operationalize a team strategy that leads to continuous revenue acceleration year over year and aligns with Snap’s mission and goals, including hiring and managing category sales managers

  • Understand category and consumer trends and translate these into opportunities to drive growth of the business

  • Build and manage relationships with key senior clients and industry leaders

  • Collaborate with cross functional leadership on strategic initiatives to ensure advertiser health and depth across key lines of business

  • Define, execute, and deliver KPI-driven sales management strategies

  • Coach, mentor and help grow high performers to drive cross-company collaboration and impact beyond achievement to quota 

  • Create an inclusive, diverse, empathetic & results-driven team culture 

  • Have command of and be responsible for the growth of your vertical at Snap and be able to inform client teams on trends in that vertical

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization up to the C-level (internally and externally)

  • Deep understanding of Snap’s ad products, measurement capabilities & our competitors in order to effectively create & manage our go to market strategies

  • Understanding of evolving measurement approaches to show impact on brand awareness, direct response/eCommerce, and in-store sales

  • Experience in organization design and an inputs driven approach to sales management

  • Ability to command the room and facilitate meetings with multiple senior stakeholder.

  • Excellent hiring, mentoring, coaching and people management skills

  • Ability to travel 20%+ of the time

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or equivalent years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing a team and managers 

  • 10+ years of experience in digital media space

  • Pre-existing relationships with marketers & industry thought leaders within the CPG and Health industries as well as agency partners in the space

  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management
