Join GE Vernova as a Senior Sales Manager KSA. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director MENAT for the Grid Software business, you will be responsible for executing sales and growth plans in the assigned territory. You'll accelerate software sales in collaboration with our cross functional teams, in region and globally. You'll bring to this role the demonstrated ability and desire to partner with customers in their digital transformation and energy transition journeys. It is required to have exceptional business acumen and outcome selling skills, and a deep understanding of the industry.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Sales of GE Digital solutions to external customers in KSA. Lead large enterprise engagements, working with customer senior leaders.
  • Developing specialized knowledge of latest commercial developments in own area and communication skills to influence others. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
  • Be a creative problem solver, identify growth opportunities in the market and contribute to regional strategic plans.

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires significant experience in the Software Sales, Business Development, and Sales strategy. Proven track record of sales success and building out new markets.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of Energy Utilities market and market stakeholders (EPCs, Systems Integrators, amog others), and has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
  • Thought leadership, comfortable with market and technology trends.
  • Ability to tell a compelling story at C level.
  • Ability to travel frequently.

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Deep understanding of Grid Utility IT and OT landscape.
  • Technical acumen to interface with technologies, ability to understand complex concepts and translate to all stakeholders.
  • Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
