The role will be in charge of planning and executing marketing strategies to promote our investment capabilities and services, enhance client engagement, and strengthen our brand presence in Japan. The person will work with Japan Institutional and Intermediary Sales teams and Firm Managements with wide exposures to all aspects of Marketing.MSIM's marketing is organized globally, with each team specializing in specific channels/functions. In this role, the successful candidate will be required to collaborate with colleagues overseas to execute marketing initiatives that are meaningful to the Japanese market, as well as to plan and execute local marketing strategies.Under rapidly changing market conditions and evolving marketing practices and techniques, it is necessary to adapt flexibly and effectively to changes and provide added value. In particular, adaptability to digital evolution is essential.Principal Responsibilities * Marketing Campaign Planning and Execution: Develop and execute of marketing campaigns for investment capabilities, including digital marketing, email marketing, and print materials. * Event Management: Organize and promote events such as webinars, industry conferences, and coordinate with vendors to ensure all logistics are managed effectively. * Digital Marketing: manage website content curation, email marketing. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales, Legal & Compliance, Risk Management and Morgan Stanley's firmwide functions to ensure adherence to Group and regulatory standards while implementing marketing activities.Key skills and experience * 7-10 years of working experience in Marketing positions, preferably within the financial services or asset management sector. * Strong project management and problem-solving skills. * Thinking-out-side-the box, speaking up and expressing ideas. * Proactive, responsive, creative, strategic, and able to work both independently and as part of a team, with good interpersonal and communication skills. * Organized and disciplined, and self-motivated to learn, enrich relevant work knowledge and experience. * Ability to work on multi-function projects and managing stakeholders across a matrix organization * Native in Japanese and fluent in English. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc). * Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms (e.g., email marketing systems etc). * Knowledge of investment products and financial markets.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
