Growth Marketing Manager

United States / Remote

Purpose: We are looking for an experienced Growth Marketing Manager to join our team. This role will report to our CEO and will collaborate with Product, Design, Analytics, Engineering, Business Development & Partnerships, and Business Operations. In this role, you will support projects that increase end-to-end acquisition, conversion, and retention at various points in the user lifecycle for both our Scholly Search and Scholly Offers products. You will help implement, analyze and optimize marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

This role provides a unique opportunity to work with Growth and company leadership across various high visibility growth initiatives at an exciting period of growth for the company. In addition, this role will provide vast opportunities to accelerate the development of your growth toolkit and prepare you for future leadership roles.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Execution of end-to-end customer acquisition, conversion, and retention campaigns:
  • Support the management and optimization of paid acquisition (paid social, paid search/SEM, affiliate partnerships)
  • Coordinate development of organic acquisition across SEO/blog content and social media.
  • Drive Scholly Offers homepage page optimizations, including A/B testing experiments, lead capture, etc.
  • Provide recommendations for onsite conversion optimizations
  • Build and launch email and SMS marketing campaigns to engage and nurture customers.
  • Create presentations with analysis and reporting.
  • Analyze campaign data to communicate results and strategies to internal stakeholders
  • Leverage core marketing and customer engagement tools like Google Analytics, HotJar, Data Studio, Segment, Tableau, and Braze
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, Business Development and Partnerships and Business Operations to drive forward growth specific projects and company-wide initiatives.

Reporting Relationships: The Growth Marketing Manager reports directly to the CEO. This position will manage the Head or Strategic Partnerships, MarTech and Analytics Manager and Email Marketing Manager.

Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in growth or data-driven marketing role; ideally at a high growth early-stage start-up.
  • Strong understanding of multiple marketing channels, email nurture, B2c user acquisition and desire to experiment with innovative marketing approaches.
  • Experience working with data and excited to use it to drive decisions, experience with SQL is a plus.
  • Experience with Braze
  • Experience working in a handful of the growth platforms: e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude or similar analytics platform, Segment, Tableau or similar data & reporting tools, Customer.io or other email/SMS platforms, etc.
  • Elevated aesthetic and quality standards; experience contributing to design of landing pages and growth creative (e.g., Facebook ads)
  • Self-driven, resourceful, and organized. Excited to get things done.
  • Excellent written communication skills. Ability to transform complex concepts into crisp consumer-friendly language.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
