Major League Baseball is seeking a highly proactive and exceptionally organized Coordinator, Marketing to provide critical support to our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)/SVP of Global Corporate Partnerships and contribute to the seamless execution of high-impact initiatives. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual with a business media background who thrives in a fast-paced, urgent environment and can anticipate needs with precision. You will be instrumental in ensuring the CMO's effectiveness and driving projects forward with speed and efficiency.

- Proactively anticipate the CMO's daily workflow and priorities
- Generate and maintain a comprehensive task list ensuring key tasks and projects are front-of-mind and progressing efficiently
- Prepare pre-meeting materials, including presentations and briefing documents, ensuring the CMO is fully prepared
- Attend high-level internal and external meetings, exhibiting executive presence and a professional demeanor
- Capture key discussions, decisions, and action items, ensuring clear next steps are documented and distributed promptly
- Act as a central point of contact for various marketing projects, facilitating communication and coordination across internal teams and external partners
- Take ownership of "statusing" projects: proactively tracking progress, identifying bottlenecks, and ensuring tasks are moving forward with urgency to meet deadlines
- Compile and disseminate regular project status updates to relevant stakeholders
- Develop and refine high-quality presentations for the CMO, internal teams, and external partners, demonstrating advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Assist in drafting key communications, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand messaging
- Support the planning and preparation of various in-person events
- Ensure all event-related materials and arrangements are meticulously managed
Qualifications & Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within business media, agency, sports, or a similar high-velocity industry
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience in a coordinator or executive support role, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple priorities for senior leaders
- Demonstrated experience in project coordination and "statusing" projects from inception to completion
- Prior event planning and logistics experience preferred
- Comfortable and effective in high-level business settings and interactions with senior leadership
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong project management and coordination abilities, with a proven track record of driving projects forward and managing deadlines
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint is a must
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously with a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset
Salary Range: $67,000 - $70,000
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related aspects of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skills, and any other factors MLB considers relevant to the hiring decision.
