What will you be doing?

The CSA is a technical sales professional with a solid understanding of the business challenges in their area of expertise. They have the unique ability to clearly articulate technical solutions to achieve results in solving customer challenges. CSAs create business relevance and provide subject matter expertise, design guidance, and implementation direction to multiple customers and internal teams in a pooled manner. The CSA has overlay technical accountability for specific opportunities, leveraging knowledge across a practice or a group of practices. They take a solution and architectural selling approach to demonstrate how products and systems can solve customer business problems. The CSA works as a key part of a high-performance team (HPT) with Client Executives, Consulting Systems Engineers, and other team members to recommend, develop, and propose appropriate customer solutions. This person develops and sustains relationships with partner business units, assists on opportunities and develops solutions aligned to their understanding of the customers' business goals and requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • SLED Sales Technical expert on Cloud solutions and service offerings.
  • Work with SLED customers to translate business and technical priorities into WWT cloud opportunities.
  • Responsible for the coordination, delivery, and quality of pre-sales solutions and architecture at every level within the customer base.
  • Understand the key elements of an opportunity and the different approaches for proposal development, including products, software, bill of materials (BOMs), services level of effort (LOEs) and architectural solutions.
  • Ensures that proposed solutions, when implemented, meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer.
  • Demonstrated experience navigating the customer landscape in the SLED space.
  • Ensures effective coordination and support between account teams and supporting post sale technical resources.
  • Assists in statement of work review and development.
  • Develops and fosters relationships with Hyperscalers: AWS, Microsoft and Google account teams in the western areas.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Regional Sales Managers to prioritize and develop go to market strategies for their region.
  • Act as an advisor, as needed, to key accounts and account teams in area of technology expertise.
  • Provide workshops and support demonstrations to customers in support of account team opportunities.
  • Develop and present solutions for key accounts.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of technical enterprise pre-sales experience with a focus on solution sales
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills required.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification(s) required. AWS Solutions Architect Associated preferred.
  • Advanced level knowledge of Public Cloud Services: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud
  • Experience working with CJIS, Pub-1075, FedRAMP, StateRAMP compliance preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g. Business Management, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Management, Program Management, etc.) or equivalent industry experience preferred.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Consultative, self-driven, business minded, goal orientated, willing to travel as required.
  • Willing to travel up to 40% or as required.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $190,000. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
