Purpose:
To ensure safe and legal handling of goods, including verifying all paperwork is accurate, complete, and timely, with proper distribution to all necessary parties through a ticketing system. Provide transportation support to our stakeholders, monitor shipment status and assist program implementations.
Duties:
1. Manage and monitor daily inbound/outbound shipments: Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are seamless and efficiently solve ad-hoc issues, delays and escalations
2. Coordinate the packing process on shipments received, based on the packing instructions provided by the customer.
3. Coordinate the delivery of shipments to the carriers once packing is complete.
4. Monitor daily to ensure all delivery instructions have been provided and followed in a timely manner

5. Inspect, verify, and recommend shipment specifications: Ensure all shipments are packed, labeled, and shipped in accordance with local compliance regulations.
6. Lead vendor performance initiatives and reviews: Drive strong vendor performance through detailed metric reporting, weekly touch points, and management level reviews
7. Support the evolving needs of both internal/external partners: Lead change management planning, assist with program / project rollout with stakeholders
8. Maintain transportation related metrics / reports
9. Ensure Dangerous Goods logistic compliance for shipments.
10. Collaborate with external and internal partners and stakeholders to resolve DG shipment issues.
