ROLE SUMMARY

The Airlines Senior Java Developer will lead and mentor team members, requiring crucial team management experience. They will be responsible for problem-solving, delegating tasks, creating a supportive team environment, setting clear team goals, providing coaching, and organizing team-building activities. Effective communication and team management skills are essential for leading, monitoring, and supervising a group of employees to achieve goals.

• Delegating tasks: Assigning tasks to the right people so they can focus on the most important aspects of the project
• Creating a supportive team environment: Setting a good example, engaging the team, and creating an open communication culture
• Setting clear team goals: Providing direction and something for the team to strive for
• Suggesting and organizing team building activities: Helping the team make progress towards the company's goals
• Discovering training needs and providing coaching: Listening to team members' feedback, resolving issues, and recognizing high performance
• Communication: Convey their vision, provide feedback, and ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities
• Team management: Leading, monitoring, and supervising a group of employees to achieve goals

• Hands on with Java 8 or above (Spring, Hibernate, MVC)
• Excellent working knowledge and Web Framework experience with Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Micro services, APIs
• Hands on with Rest based web services
• Strong exposure on coding standards, unit testing with experience on Agile (Scrum)
• Strong exposure to Design Patterns (IOC, MVC, Singleton, Factory)
• Hands Experience in CI-CD pipeline
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Mentor and train junior members on design, implementation, and standards
• Deep understanding & Hands-on experience in developing Core Java, Spring, Entity Framework, Hibernate, Gradle, JQuery for basic validation & API Binding
• Experience in Active MQ, or other messaging queue.
• Hands on expertise on SQL Queries, Oracle
• Experienced working on Kafka
