As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will serve as a trusted Business Partner to our business management team to increase organisational efficiency and to encourage high performance culture. Our Accounts Payable Functional team is a very professional yet comfortable group to work in. You will be able to utilise your expertise in various strategic projects and to implement them with the constant support from the team.

Responsibilities

  • Managing day to day activities within accounts payable
  • Handling accounts payable for multiple entities and vendors
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
  • Define & create AP monthly metrics
  • Motivate change & process improvements based on standard methodologies
  • Actively participate in ongoing AP/Source to Pay Projects
  • Acts as subject matter expert on all AP/Source to Pay Projects
  • Maintain & perform system controls for SOX compliance
  • Collaborate with key partners on current projects & process improvements

Qualifications

Education:

Experience:

  • 5+ Years of analytical and systems implementation experience
  • Experience in using SAP accounting & purchasing modules
  • Experience using Ariba

Competencies:

  • Good leadership skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver results
  • Support other functions within the organisation
  • A valid passport will be required;
  • This is a crossed location position with occasional travels to other territories/countries for activities such as governance of department, local business support, meetings and training.
