About the Role:
CrowdStrike is looking to hire an Accounting Payable Manager to join their accounting team. This role will be instrumental in driving and leading change in the Accounts Payable team in their day-to-day Global AP operations and reports directly to the Director, Accounting. The role will be heavily focused on driving process improvements in all AP operations leveraging existing systems. Our ideal candidate is a Coupa and expense reimbursements systems expert, capable of being a key player in leading a world class global accounts payable department, and experienced in managing an offshore team that can efficiently scale with CrowdStrike's rapidly growing business. This role involves leading AP technology and automation initiatives, ensuring compliance with SLAs/critical metrics, partnering with key collaborators, and improving and nurturing a team focus on prompt and effective customer service.

This position will be required to have demonstrated in-depth knowledge of a modern accounts payable function - including finding opportunities to implement standard methodologies and ensure continuous improvement of the AP function at the Company. This role requires maintaining confidentiality and treatment of sensitive information with discretion, act as a role model for ethical behavior, and be an advocate of and follow Company policies. It requires excellent people, communication and writing skills; be able to collaborate across various business units, regions and be self-motivated.

What You'll Do:
  • Be the strategic and tactical voice of AP in all initiatives with key business partners - Procurement / GL / FPA / Finance Transformation / IT
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and drive/own system enhancements in collaboration with the Finance Transformation and IT teams
  • Establish KPIs for the team and monitor performance to the KPIs
  • Manage vendor payments and employment reimbursements process and own operating cash forecast.
  • Monitor both internal and external inquiries related to AP Operations and ensure they are being addressed by team members accurately and timely
  • Manage high priority, and/or urgent requests
  • Participate in the month-end closing activities such as reviewing accruals and key account reconciliations, and have ownership of audit requests
System & Tools:
  • Develop and monitor KPI's and create progress reports, establish productivity benchmarks, perform root cause analysis of any process gaps and/or oversights, and provide problem-solving assessments and feedback of outcomes.
  • Enhance reporting for stakeholders to ensure transparency and meaningful analysis and insights can be gained.
  • Use BI tools for Creating and Monitoring output-based performance reports and matrix.
  • Business owner for the Navan expense reimbursement tool deployment and ongoing management
  • Assist in any ad-hoc requests or projects as needed, implementations for new customizations, design enhancements, process improvements, integrations with ERP software (NetSuite), audit requests, etc.
  • Continuously review and enhance the AP process, functions, and capabilities within Coupa and Navan.
  • Stay alert to new threats and trends in AP area and lead conversations on how AP team needs to adapt to stay proactive.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure all AP processes are SOX compliant on design and implementation and ensure all required documentation and SOPs.
  • Support implementation of standard solution for tax compliances related to AP function.
What You'll Need:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience with 5+ years in a leadership/team management role.
  • Experience with Coupa and expense reimbursement systems.
  • Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite General Ledger required.
  • Advanced excel and Presentation skills with BI tools experience.
  • Strong and in-depth understanding of end-to-end Accounts payable processes landscape.
  • Able to manage large offshore team organizations and implement checks and balances.
  • Strong leadership and time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills with ability to deliver under high pressure and managing complexities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, detail-oriented with a big picture mindset.
  • Experience with vendor portal and account reconciliation process rollouts.
