We’re looking for a Manager, Accounts Payable to join Snap, Inc! Working closely with the Accounting team, you will handle a wide range of procure to pay, travel and entertainment, and bookkeeping activity. You’ll collaborate with other Accounting team members to synthesize large amounts of data and tell the story behind the numbers.   

 

What you’ll do:

  • Support Accounts Payable key activities including Vendor Maintenance, Invoice Processing, and Payments

  • Assist with the management of AP email inboxes and ticketing systems to ensure that internal SLA’s and KPIs are met and inquiries are responded to in a timely fashion

  • Manage Procure to Pay systems as an administrator, including managing errors and improving functionality

  • Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments, proper coding, and compliance with internal controls

  • Manage Snap’s Spotlight, Creator and Revenue Share payments process

  • Manage 1099, withholding tax and 1042 processing 

  • Work closely and effectively with other departments within Snap to identify solutions and support new business opportunities

  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with Company policy and accepted accounting practices

  • Assist Senior AP Manager in implementation of policies and procedures and other projects, as needed

  • Serve as a mentor to junior staff, and lead training and development for staff 

  • Assist in month-end close procedures

  • Provide support for internal and external audit and other ad-hoc projects

  • Manage company intranet site for AP, Expense and Purchasing

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills to interact with employees and vendors in a professional, confidential manner

  • Experience with Managing a team

  • Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures

  • Experience in an international environment: multi-currencies, international GAAP and tax rules

  • Knowledge of accounting ERP software (Oracle a plus)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Proficient in Excel and Word

  • Able to work independently and with a team in a fast paced, high volume environment with competing priorities

  • Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing

  • Experience with high volume payment processing

  • Experience with system implementations and roll outs

  • Experience with Concur or other T&E system

  • Occasional travel may be expected 

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • 6+ years Accounts Payable experience  

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud

  • Experience with Zendesk

  • Experience with third party payment solutions like HyperWallet, Tipalti, Payment Rails, or Stripe is preferred.
