The Job

The Digital Technical Director will play a vital role in helping to nurture and support Bleacher Report's live streaming network. They will be at the forefront of identifying and executing digital media workflows for live production, providing crucial support to our creator community.

We're seeking detail-oriented, sports-loving individuals with a passion for the digital landscape. If you're driven and eager to learn, this position offers an exciting opportunity to evolve our live streaming efforts as the B/R app ushers in a modern era of sports creators.

The Daily

• Lead for a technical production, responsible for setting up and the operation of the production switcher and associated technical equipment in a control room environment

• Set up and operate production switchers and all associated technical equipment in a control room environment, or smaller efficiency stations (occasionally remotes) during show build, pre-production, and taped/live events. Orchestrate control room setup while simultaneously evaluating and assigning all inputs and outputs.

• Collaborate with the Director and Producer to execute the technical and artistic vision for each production

• Lead audio, graphics, tape and Studio teams during production set up and coordinate faxing of equipment and show elements

The Essentials:

• Passionate broadcast professional with an attention to detail

• 1-3 years of experience in the media industry.

• Understands the digital landscape and digital production tools

• Proficiency in learning new and emerging technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Tech savvy with an understanding of production software such as OBS, vMix, and other similar

• Familiarity with the digital video production space.

• Experience onboarding and invoicing independent contractors.

• Hyper-organized individual with great attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.

• Willing learner with an openness to acquire new skills and knowledge.

• Strong communicator, be it through written, verbal, or presentation mediums.

• Resourcefulness with an ability to find creative solutions to challenges.

• Ability to work unconventional hours, nights and weekends as needed.

Note: This is a temporary 12-month contract position. We cannot guarantee the possibility of an extension or full-time offer at its completion.

The Legal Bits...
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $55,328.00 - $102,752.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
