Job Description

Team Summary

 

The Data Solutions team is responsible for leading the strategy, prioritisation, development and delivery of Visa’s product roadmap for all data and risk solutions in the Australian, New Zealand and South Pacific markets. The team collaborates with local and global stakeholders to develop the go to market for Visa’s open data capabilities, scale Visa’s risk and authentication solutions, as well as delivering Visa’s data solutions roadmap.

What an Associate Enterprise Data Solutions does at Visa

 

Based in Sydney, this role will support the team with the delivery and support of Visa’s data products and solutions which serve enterprise clients. The Associate will drive internal and external engagements to champion the use of Visa data solutions in partnership with commercialisation and sales teams.

Using their experience in data analysis and stakeholder management, they will develop an understanding of various products and solutions and act as the local subject matter expert, driving adoption, creating value-added insights, product customisation and education.

 

The Associate will participate in regional and global forums and act as an advocate for Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific. This may include supporting relevant technical product updates and ensuring appropriate localisation to enable successful local rollout. Additionally, in collaboration with the regional and global product management teams, provide ongoing support for local clients including client billing, legal approval of materials and client-facing reporting where required.

 

They will partner with regional and local stakeholders, such as sales, commercialisation and go-to-market teams, to create or localise high quality sales content (trainings, pitch decks, whitepapers, case studies etc.) to ensure effective sales and retention materials and tools are available.

  • Proven presentation skills, including strong oral and written capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills with proven abilities in negotiating, influencing and effectively communicating concepts to customers and colleagues at all levels.
  • 2+ years of commercial experience in a related field.

 

What will also help

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organised and systematic approach to managing a large number of concurrent initiatives.
  • Demonstrated working experience in product management and/or project management.
  • Experience in consultative selling and collaborating with sales teams to help clients understand the benefits of products and services.
  • Some experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience in conjunction with a less technical bachelor’s degree.

 

Projects you will be a part of

 

As part of the data solutions team you will be working on new and innovative solutions and the implementation of market leading products. These will include:

  • Engage clients at a detailed level to gain an understanding of their business needs and identify or collaboratively ideate solutions and recommendations to address their challenges through the use of Visa’s existing products or potentially new innovative solutions.
  • Development of client specific sales and retention plans in collaboration with sales and commercialisation leads.
  • Manage execution of new implementations with key clients and subsequent post implementation optimisations in collaboration with other functions.                      

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
