The Data and Reporting Professional 2 generates ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. The Data and Reporting Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Location: Must reside in OH to work remotely

The Data and Reporting Professional 2

  • Integrates data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements.
  • Programs and maintains report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources.
  • May create specifications for reports based on business requests.
  • Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.Works on provider Agreement Requirements from the state, external collaboratives with state and other MCO's, ad hoc deliverables for the state, minimum performance standards monthly trending, year over year reporting, EPSDT data files and reports, CAHPS data files for date reporting, and dashboard submissions and disparity stratification.

This role makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of data reporting experience in a Managed Care setting
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Access and PowerPoint
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including ability to link pivots to external data sources, creating pivot tables and summarizing data into reports, dashboards, charts and graphs
  • Experience creating automated reports and self-service tools
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience with tools such as Power BI and Tableau for creating data visualizations
  • Experience in SQL
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Prior experience working in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$59,100 - $81,500 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
