The Regulatory Operations and Safety Team enables sustained business growth across Canada through ensuring rigorous regulatory compliance and building an industry-leading safety and standards program.

In this role, you will own a variety of core business activities and critical projects to advance our mission in this area. You will need to balance a strategic mind and detail orientation, as well as a pragmatic approach to solving problems. What You'll Do

  • Conduct analyses and deliver strategic recommendations to senior management to drive business decisions in business critical areas such as driver screening, documents, licensing, and other driver onboarding requirements
  • Plan and execute projects of varying time horizons and scope with minimal guidance, requiring excellent stakeholder and project management skills
  • Conduct core business activities and processes diligently and identify opportunities for improvements or innovation
  • Work with cross-functional teams to configure and launch new safety features

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • French proficiency
  • 1+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, business intelligence, strategy or related experience
  • Excel proficiency (modeling, data visualization)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, business intelligence, strategy or related experience
  • Working knowledge in applying SQL, Python, R, Stata or similar statistical languages and tools
  • Proficiency in French is a plus
  • High-growth operations or startup experience is strongly preferred
  • Phenomenal collaborator, and someone who proactively works across teams, able to influence senior and external stakeholders
  • Storytelling through Data: Transform data analyses into an understandable storyline across tech and non-tech audiences in order to influence business decisions
  • Data-Driven Mentality: Make strategic decisions based on data analysis and interpretation. Experience getting in the weeds of data, balanced with the ability to see the big picture
  • Communication: Ability to interpret and present data to various audiences in an engaging and comprehensive, yet succinct manner
  • Teamwork: Demonstrate optimism, respect others, and promote a team environment where individuals can communicate and contribute freely. Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and responsibilities. Maintains healthy working relationships, even in disagreement
  • Executional Excellence: Ability to work and accomplish multiple tasks in parallel, delivering results in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, while maintaining high-quality work standards
  • Planning & Organization: Ability to create detailed project plans with project stages, milestones, basic interdependencies, and owners

For Canada-based roles: The base salary range for this role is CAD$89,000 per year - CAD$99,000 per year.
