About the Role

We are on the lookout for a Safety Support Program Manager to oversee the safety program in Eastern Europe and the Middle East and Africa regions. In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of driving improvements, ensuring efficiency and efficacy of safety support (IRT), and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance safety support initiatives.

Your efforts will drive the experience of users involved in safety incidents across both mobility and delivery and the mitigation of platform safety risks. This role has a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, running and completing complex processes, leading cross-functional collaboration, driving regional alignment, and improving processes and support operations through data analytics, organization, and teamwork.

What You'll do:

  • Drive Operational Excellence: Take ownership of safety support, optimizing existing processes, and implementing new ones to ensure seamless operations.
  • Performance Management: Establish robust performance management structures to consistently deliver exceptional safety support results.
  • Decision Making: Be the go-to export on complex safety cases, driving fair and safe resolutions that prioritize user well-being.
  • Project Execution: Lead the execution of diverse safety projects, from product rollouts to policy enhancements, driving positive change across the region.
  • Collaboration: Foster collaboration with internal and external support sites and cross functional partners.
  • Continuous Improvement: Use data analytics to find opportunities for cost and quality improvements, maintaining a strong focus on customer experience.
  • Proactive Risk Mitigation: Stay ahead of safety risks by adopting a proactive approach, identifying potential issues and implementing preventive measures.
  • Influence and Leadership: Establish credibility and expertise, influencing internal team members to enhance processes and policies, ensuring scalable solutions for future challenges.

  • Bias for Action: Proactive in implementing solutions and achieving results, with a dedication to making impact.
  • Curiosity and Innovation: Naturally curious and dedicated to discovering innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
  • Crisis Management Experience: Previous experience in crisis management is desirable.
