Business Planning Supervisor | Corporate Finance - Logistics

*Hybrid work model, 2 days per week in office

As a Supervisor on the Corporate Finance team you will be a strategic partner to our global logistics and finance teams. Additionally, you will manage a team of 1-2 Financial Analysts & Senior Financial Analysts to assist Senior Leadership with driving business decisions. Day-to-day, you will have the opportunity to drive strategic decisions for the leading off-price retailer in the world.

A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously that will be reviewed by Senior Executives. Further, thinking critically, analyzing effectively, and communicating efficiently is required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Through a combination of individual contributor and manager work, lead the processes and activities of a subset of the Business Planning team to ensure effective, efficient and accurate forecasting & planning
  • Oversee & perform financial forecasting & reporting with excellent attention to detail, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Develop annual and long range budget models for Logistics Finance
  • Perform analysis to provide relevant Executive-level guidance on business performance and areas of risk and opportunity
  • Oversee and deliver financial updates to Chief Logistics Officer, CFOs & COOs
  • Work on various ad-hoc analysis to increase efficiencies in supply chain
  • Manage and mentor associates on training and professional development
  • Building relationships with partners across the business, such as Divisional Finance and Logistics Operations
  • Play a leadership role on projects & new initiatives
  • Define strategy and present recommendations on various initiatives across all levels of Management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related field
  • At least 4 years of experience working in a business planning and/or finance environment
  • Prior experience leading teams in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to acquire and analyze information and draw business solutions
  • Able to concisely and effectively deliver insights, recommendations, and results to Executive Level management
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple engagements and manage constantly evolving assignments in a team environment
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, and reporting on large amounts of data
  • High level of curiosity to explore, learn and understand business information
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient PC skills: Microsoft Office Excel (pivot tables, function logic, and lookup/reference formulas and charts); Access or other data applications a plus

This position has a starting salary range of $90,200 to $115,200 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

This position is eligible for an annual incentive.
