Boeing Commercial Airplanes is hiring for Entry-Level Flight Readiness Technicians (FRT) (Level A) for Multiple Shifts in North Charleston, South Carolina. This position will support the 787 Program Boeing South Carolina Delivery Center Operations Team.

Flight Readiness Technicians perform rework, modification, maintenance, preflight and post-flight checks for delivery, including, troubleshooting pre and post-flight checks and performs maintenance and modification actions for delivery.

This position will provide critical production support to the Delivery Center including improving production efficiency, safety and optimizing product quality.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Works under supervision with limited understanding of the job.
  • Performs final component installation and systems operational functional testing .
  • Performs rework, modification, maintenance, preflight and post-flight checks for delivery, inspect and document non-conformance following detailed verbal or written instructions on items with limited complexity.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Must be able to work any shift including days, nights and weekends.
  • Minimum 3 months experience with live aircraft systems and flight operations.
  • Minimum 3 months experience with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant license.
  • Minimum 3 months of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum 3 months of 787 Program Experience.
  • Familiar with Boeing Production System.
  • Experience with Field/Flight Line Operations.

Typical Education/Experience:

High school diploma or GED.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Position is for multiple shifts.

Safety Sensitive:

This is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) random drug and alcohol testing.

Summary pay range: 43,350 - 58,650
