Role Overview
Sodexo has a new opening for a Senior Manager, Business Analytics to join our team. This is a remote position, and the successful candidate may office anywhere in the United States. Candidate will be expected to work a typical Eastern time zone schedule.
The Senior Manager, Business Analytics will create datasets, analytical tools, and queries to support reporting and analysis activities within the Supply Management/Distribution.
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzes large datasets and prepare reports based on these datasets to provide quality assurance, information, trending recommendations and the like to stakeholders and/or senior management.
- Distills/translates complex analyses into clear actionable recommendations that are shared with internal teams and across professional families or with external partners, both formally and/or informally.
- Supports the development of programs, policies and their implementation. Conducts benchmarking and research as requested.
- Performs data mining and analysis from a variety of data resources and systems as well as evaluates and utilizes data from external sources (i.e. Suppliers, External System application partners, etc.) utilizing relational database tools and methodologies as well as presentation software.
- Collaborates between team members on data-oriented initiatives

- Responsible for ongoing and ad hoc analysis and collaborates on development of metrics; assists in tactical support for initiatives

What You Bring
Key qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong communications skills
- Ability to garner insights and present recommendations
- Relational database knowledge and understanding of data and data relationships
- Advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and data visualization) and proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience working with relational databases, SQL and Power BI is a plus
- Knowledge of food service industry and product knowledge is a plus

Minimum Management Experience - 5 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years
