Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an Accountant for our Banking Administration team who will work with the Senior Manager and other team members.

The role supports several teams within Financial Shared Services and all business segments. The role will have a diverse set of responsibilities that include accounting, journal entries, confirmations, and analysis.

This role will work a hybrid schedule averaging three days in the office and two days from home plus 10 work from anywhere days- this is on top of vacation, holidays and personal days.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and resolve unit fund balance discrepancies in SAP

• Manage confirmation process over unit funds

• Analyze monthly armored car expenses to ensure fees incurred align with our contract and request credits as needed

• Support issuance of certified checks with local bank partner

• Maintain relationships with NorAm's armored car partners

• Journalize bank service fees for subaccounts in the US

• Prepare monthly journal entries for other banking service providers and reconcile activity

• Oversee DTS system, manage monthly invoices, and review users

• Prepare the bank deposit for physical checks received

• Provide support for the Banking Administration team in Mumbai

• Serve as primary back-up for SoGo customer service and certain credit card related tasks

• Manage, review and distribute department mail

• Perform special projects as needed

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or similar

• Must be a self-starter with a high degree of initiative

• Comfortable with spreadsheets and other Office products
