Product Marketing Manager, Commerce

We’re looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to own Snapchat’s solutions for Commerce! The ideal candidate must demonstrate a solid vision for how to bring products to market, be at ease in a fast moving and ambiguous environment, and showcase excellent problem solving and communication skills in order to drive impact across different teams. You will use your knowledge of marketplaces, platforms & products used by merchants, and understanding of the ad tech industry to properly inform the roadmap, build global go to market strategies, and coordinate ongoing marketing efforts to grow awareness, understanding, and adoption of Snapchat’s Commerce solutions.

What you’ll do:

  • Be a recognized expert of the Commerce vertical and collaborate with a group of Product Managers, Designers and Sales Managers to develop and execute global go to market strategies, including product positioning, narrative, internal communications and marketing activations

  • Lead extensive market research to identify new opportunities through structured analysis, market trends, competitive benchmarking, quantitative & qualitative feedback, and influence our Commerce product roadmap

  • Be a self starter team player who can lead, coordinate and drive successful alignment across wide cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Communications, Sales, Partnerships, Support, and Localization, with minimal guidance

  • Inspire and educate both internal and external teams on Snapchat’s Commerce solutions

  • Build frameworks and processes to structure conversations, create & socialize activation initiatives, and drive alignment at each level of the company, from peers to senior leadership

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the Commerce industry, online and offline, and deep understanding of both paid & organic offerings

  • Extensive go to market strategy & planning experience

  • Effective written and verbal communication

  • Self starter able to prioritize duties and work well on your own

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail

  • Strategic mindset to bring complex and nuanced concepts into simple actionable tasks

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years professional experience in product marketing, product management, internet technology, strategy consulting or other relevant digital marketing experience

  • Track record of overseeing multiple products throughout their entire lifecycle: from pre-planning, to launch, to expanding features and maturing the solution post-launch

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's of Business Administration

  • Experience working with eCommerce companies

  • Experience with the retail industry

  • Experience with fast paced work environments
