Product Marketing Manager, App Ads

We’re looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to own Snapchat’s solutions for App advertisers! You will use your knowledge of marketplaces, platforms, and products used by App developers, and your understanding of the ad tech industry to properly inform the roadmap, build global go to market strategies, and coordinate ongoing marketing efforts to grow awareness, understanding, and adoption of Snapchat’s Mobile App Ad solutions.

What you’ll do:

Conduct research and analysis to understand advertising solutions, identify key market trends, and spearhead initiatives to capture growth opportunities

  • Use market knowledge and analytical mindset to inform the roadmap, build global go-to market strategies, and coordinate ongoing marketing efforts to grow awareness, understanding, and adoption of Snapchat’s performance advertising solutions

  • Develop global go-to market strategies and plans, including product positioning, narrative, internal communications, and marketing activation strategies

  • Develop extensive market research to identify new opportunities through qualitative and quantitative analysis, constantly assess the capabilities and value proposition of our ad products via market trends, advertiser feedback, and competitive benchmarking in order to influence our monetization strategy

  • Drive successful cross functional alignment on go-to-market strategy and planning and track success metrics accordingly

  • Inspire and educate both internal and external teams on Snapchat’s performance solutions for advertisers 

  • Resolve moderate to complex technical issues in a timely and productive manner, and proactively identify and implement process improvements.

  • Provide strategic guidance and support during all phases of the sales cycle (pre-sale, on-boarding, and renewal)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledgeable in building ad tech for app developers

  • Skilled in the delivery and oversight of 1P solutions such as targeting, measurement, optimization, etc.

  • Skilled in written and verbal communication

  • Ability to prioritize duties and work autonomously

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail

  • Skilled in turning complex and nuanced concepts into simple actionable tasks

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing or equivalent years of experience

  • 5 years of industry experience, i.e. product marketing, internet technology, or other relevant digital marketing work 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated public speaking skills and comfortable presenting to groups of 100 - 500+

  • Well versed in app monetization models (IAA, IAP, freemium), and the tools these apps need to succeed

  • Strong understanding of the mobile app ecosystem, including auction dynamics, mobile app measurement and attribution, programmatic buying, and mobile ad networks

  • Track record of overseeing multiple products throughout their entire lifecycle: from pre-planning, to launch, to expanding features and maturing the solution post-launch
