APAC Portfolio Development Manager (Simcenter)

We arelooking for APAC Portfolio Development Manager for our Simcenter portfolio based in Tokyo (Japan), Seoul (South Korea) or Shanghai/Beijing (China). Aspart of the Zone portfolio development (PFD) organization, this role will driveSiemens Xcelerator™ Simcenter™ portfolio through the identification andexecution of the zone GTM strategy centred on identifying land and expandopportunities resulting in pipeline/revenue for new customers. Simcenter is acomprehensive simulation and test portfolio within the Siemens Xceleratorbusiness platform of software, hardware and services. It covers a wide range ofengineering tools and methodologies, including system simulation, CFD, CAE,data acquisition and analytics, intelligent design exploration, workflowautomation, and engineering process management. To excel in this role, you shouldpossess a proactive and collaborative mindset, along with a strong backgroundin business development within the Simulation and Test industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting asa trusted advisor to sales and PFD colleagues in key AP countries, providingguidance on planning, executing, and evaluating portfolio developmentactivities.
  • Establishingyourself as the recognized owner and thought leader for several Simcenter's keysimulation and test solution domains.
  • Collaboratingwith cross-functional multicultural teams, such as sales, marketing, andproduct development, to develop tailored solutions that meet the needs ofcustomers in specific industries.
  • Gaining adeep understanding of the market position of Simcenter in the AP Zone,including the problems it addresses and the business value it delivers tocustomers. This understanding will help you adapt sales messaging for campaignsand initiatives, recognizing that messaging may vary across industries.
  • Buildingand nurturing strong relationships with key decision-makers within TOP20 targetopportunities and new logo accounts, stakeholders are including their executives,VPs, and Directors.
  • Keeping aclose eye on market trends, the competitive landscape, and customerrequirements to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitiveedge.
  • Workingindependently on assignments and pursuits, employing your problem-solvingskills and applying best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master's Degree in Engineering or MBA
  • Excellent communication in English plus Japanese/Korean or Chinese
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Familiar with Salesforce or sales data analytics will be an addedadvantage
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in business/portfolio development forSimulation & Test Software (Simcenter)
  • Presales/Technical Consultant experience in the similar portfolioswill be preferred
