About the Role:
The Strategic Alliance & Data Center Solutions Manager is a key sales leadership role responsible for managing relationships with nominated strategic accounts globally, focusing on AI Enterprise Ecosystem companies, server vendors, systems integrators, and value chain players headquartered in Taiwan. This role combines strategic alliance management with technical sales expertise to drive the sales of our data center solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Strategy: Define, implement, and monetize a clear account strategy that embraces the full portfolio of Schneider Electric, aligned with customers' business outcomes.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers within nominated accounts and associated ecosystem players, including C-level executives.
- Solution Design: Enable Alliance Partner & have the ability to design/understand comprehensive data center solutions, including power, cooling, racks, PDUs, UPS systems, liquid cooling, and DCIM software.
- Sales Leadership: Lead large project pursuits with regional teams, driving the sales cycle from presales through tendering and execution, and aligning internal/external partners and key resources.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain deep technical knowledge of APC and Schneider Electric product portfolios, as well as industry best practices and emerging technologies in data center design and management.
- Customer Engagement: Act as the primary sales and technical point of contact for customers, conducting needs assessments, presenting solutions, and addressing technical inquiries.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with pre-sales teams to develop winning proposals, provide technical expertise during the sales cycle, and contribute to the overall sales strategy.
- Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the data center space to identify opportunities for innovation and product development.
- Teamwork: Mobilize and manage networks of sales and technical professionals, navigate complex matrix organizations, and lead virtual teams to successful client engagements.

Key Attributes:
- Commercial Experience: Demonstrates technical sales experience, strong track record in managing and growing large accounts, and understanding of account management, sales channels, and third parties.
- Leadership: Ability to mobilize and manage remote and virtual teams, navigate complex matrix organizations, and understand and animate complex ecosystems of influencers.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to understand complex requirements, communicate client needs, challenge solutions, and translate solutions to business value. Excellent influencing and intercultural skills.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of data center solutions and Schneider Electric product portfolio, with the ability to stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies.
This combined role requires a blend of strategic alliance management and technical sales expertise to drive the growth of Schneider Electric's data center solutions business.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data center design, engineering, or solution architecture.
- Deep understanding of data center infrastructure components, including power distribution, cooling systems, rack systems, UPS systems, and DCIM software.
- Experience with liquid cooling technologies is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices for data center design (e.g., TIA-942, Uptime Institute).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD or other design software is a plus.
