The Opportunity

Tableau, a Salesforce company, has revolutionised how organisations see and understand data. As the Regional Vice President (RVP) of Tableau, you will spearhead the continued expansion of this transformative analytic platform within Australia. Leading a high-performance team, you will chart the strategic direction, cultivate vital partnerships, and drive exceptional sales results to elevate Tableau as the indispensable data analytics platform across this dynamic region.

Your Impact

  • Execute the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for the team to increase our relevance and fuel the expansion of Tableau in Australia
  • Drive pipeline generation initiatives to improve revenue-generating opportunities for the assigned markets.
  • Engage at the C-level in customer organisations.
  • Consistently supervise and enhance the sales activities of the team.
  • Continue to grow and manage a team of high performers, developing the next generation of talent at -Tableau and Salesforce, while building a diverse team.
  • Support Account Executives (AE) by participating in and leading client executive meetings and engaging other corporate resources as required.
  • Mentor and professionally develop AE's with strategies to ensure high closure rates and effective opportunity identification.
  • Be an enabler of an inclusive and winning team spirit.
  • Build strong team unity and internal connections, fostering collaboration across the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Provide detailed and accurate weekly sales forecasts to the Country Manager.
  • Work closely with various functions and peers across the organisation to establish and develop strong, collaborative partnerships, ensuring continued success.

Required skills

  • Proven sales leadership experience in the enterprise software industry, ideally within the data analytics or business intelligence sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and inspire a successful team, with a consistent track record in building and managing high-performance teams.
  • Strong strategic acumen, with the ability to translate corporate vision into regional execution.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; capable of inspiring and building trusted relationships both internally and externally.
  • Proven relationships with key CXOs across various Vertical Industries.
  • Passion for data-driven decision-making and a keen understanding of the value Tableau brings to organisations
