The National VP of Channel Sales is responsible for operationalizing and maximizing sales through Maven’s channel partners, including health plans, PBMs, and TPAs.  In this role, you will own sales through a book of national and regional channel partners.  This is done in partnership with both Maven’s employer sales and other cross-functional teams responsible for driving the success of these partnerships. Your super power is your ability to develop meaningful and enduring relationships at all levels of a channel partner and within Maven to drive mutually beneficial growth with our partners.  

As the National VP, Channel Sales, you will:

  • Be responsible for driving pipeline development and sales enablement across a book of our channel partners, including tracking and managing performance against each partner’s targets
  • Develop relationships with sales leaders at each partner to unlock pipeline and enable relationships with account level executives and sales reps
  • Develop and lead sales trainings to ensure the partner’s sales and other supporting teams are widely aware of Maven’s products and value story
  • Maintain and discuss regular pipeline data and metrics with partner sales leadership to drive mutual sales performance
  • Promote independent pipeline development through Maven Employer Sales reps by facilitating relationships with their channel partner account exec counterparts
  • Support complex sales alongside our employer reps when sold through our channel partners
  • Serve as the internal partnership leader when discussing pipeline development and progression in executive forecast meetings
  • Support channel partner strategy development and expansion of our relationships into new lines of business and other growth opportunities
  • Serve as a conduit to our internal teams to communicate needs and expectations of our plan partners and the market broadly as they evolve 

We’re looking for you to bring:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, with background in healthcare, particularly health plans and/or employer benefits
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas over multiple years
  • Experience selling through channels or managing complex business partnerships that involved growing revenue and market share
  • Demonstrated success in working with external partners to achieve shared goals and in retaining and growing mutually beneficial relationships
  • Strong executive presence
  • Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization
  • Driven performer with the passion and initiative to exceed individual goals while operating within a collaborative team environment
  • Comfort in leading through ambiguity, including engaging or leading sessions, teams and decision-making without having all the information on hand
  • Enjoys a healthy level of autonomy, driven by accountability, a strong work ethic and ability to self manage
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills; expert listening skills
