Role Description:
As a key member of the Customer Marketing team, the Discovery Senior Analyst plays a crucial role in identifying and qualifying customer accounts for co-marketing opportunities that align with our strategic business priorities. This individual is responsible for reviewing a dynamic pipeline of accounts and proactively engaging internal stakeholders - including Account Executives, Product Managers, and Solution Engineers - to assess fit for customer storytelling, campaigns, or other marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, an ability to navigate complex internal teams, and a talent for uncovering compelling customer success narratives that highlight product impact and drive brand momentum.
Responsibilities:
- Review and prioritize a pipeline of customer accounts using defined strategic criteria (industry, product usage, deal size, etc.)
- Conduct outreach to internal stakeholders to gather insights and assess co-marketing potential
- Qualify accounts based on alignment with campaign goals, product narratives, and business impact
- Partner closely with customer marketing managers to hand off qualified accounts for next steps (storytelling, events, PR, etc.)
- Maintain clear tracking of outreach, responses, and qualification outcomes in team systems
- Provide feedback on trends and pipeline health to improve targeting and engagement strategy over time
- Monitor, capture, and analyze relevant data via Salesforce reports and dashboards and provide analysis to be used in marketing, sales, and content development
Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales, customer marketing, field marketing, or related roles.
- Strong skills in communication, writing, and ability to work well cross-functionally. You must be able to communicate effectively to both internal and customer executives
- A growth mindset, seeing opportunities and solutions when presented with challenges, and an always-evolving environment
- Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts
- Familiarity with CRM tools (like Salesforce) and basic data analysis
- Dynamic, confident personality with the ability to successfully define and drive project execution with minimal guidance amidst multiple priorities and goals
- Experience working with customers, direct distribution (sales) teams, and channel & marketing partners
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively
- Extreme attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with the Salesforce products and/or other SaaS and B2B technology platforms
- Experience with working directly with Analyst Relations, Customer Reference Programs and or Product Marketing
- Proven track record of executive communications
- Familiarity with Salesforce market strategy

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $111,200 to $152,900.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
