Sr. Team Lead, Paid Media

Kfar Saba, Israel

Location: Kfar Sava, IL (hybrid)

NEXT’s mission is to help entrepreneurs thrive. We’re doing that by building the only technology-led, full-stack provider of small business insurance in the industry, taking on the entire value chain and transforming the customer experience.

Simply put, wherever you find small businesses, you’ll find NEXT.

Since 2016, we’ve helped hundreds of thousands of small business customers across the United States get fast, customized and affordable coverage. We’re backed by industry leaders in insurance and tech, and we still have room to grow — that’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a Sr. Team Lead, Paid Media to lead performance marketing execution and optimization at scale. This is a hands-on, analytical, and high-impact role overseeing a team of channel experts (digital ads, affiliates, and search) managing tens of millions of dollars in annual spend. You’ll work closely with the Director of Digital Marketing and own the numbers—budgeting, performance analysis, campaign excellence, and funnel conversion.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in the details—obsessed with performance, hungry to test and improve, and excited to lead a team that delivers growth through data-backed execution. You should bring a sharp performance marketing skillset and an understanding of the bigger picture—how to speak to small business owners, navigate complex products like insurance, and scale outcomes that actually matter.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Next’s paid media programs across digital ads, affiliates, and search—driving acquisition and revenue growth through performance campaigns.
  • Manage a high-performing team of media buyers and channel owners, guiding their priorities, development, and execution.
  • Own budget allocation, forecasting, pacing, and ongoing performance tracking across all paid media channels.
  • Design and execute A/B tests to improve conversion rates across the funnel, partnering closely with data analysts and engineers to validate results and surface actionable insights.
  • Maintain a relentless focus on conversion rate optimization (CRO) and marketing efficiency—scaling what works and eliminating waste.
  • Monitor and analyze media performance, identify trends and data anomalies, and work cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies in reporting or attribution.
  • Collaborate with our Data Engineering and Analytics teams to build and refine dashboards, ensure data accuracy, and inform strategic planning.
  • Stay on top of platform changes, algorithm updates, and industry trends—bringing back relevant insights from webinars, industry reports, and conferences.
  • Regularly present performance trends, learnings, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Partner with creative and content leads to continuously test and evolve messaging, assets, and targeting.
  • Contribute to company-wide experimentation initiatives and support cross-functional growth programs.

What We Need:

  • 8+ years of experience in paid media, with at least 3 years managing large-scale performance marketing programs (minimum $20M+ annually).
  • 4+ years of people management (team lead and beyond), preferably in a global company
  • Hands-on campaign management experience across Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, programmatic, and/or affiliate platforms.
  • Deep understanding of A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and full-funnel performance marketing best practices.
  • Strong analytical background—you can spot a tracking error, build your own report, or model a what-if budget scenario in your sleep.
  • Experience working closely with data engineers, analysts, and cross-functional teams to optimize measurement, attribution, and marketing systems.
  • A track record of managing and mentoring a high-performing team
  • Exceptional communication skills—you can clearly articulate tradeoffs, defend recommendations with data, and tailor your message to execs, peers, and direct reports.
  • Experience in fintech, or small business marketing is a strong plus.
  • A sharp understanding of the small business mindset and the nuances of marketing a complex, highly-considered product like insurance.
