  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute our SEO and organic content strategy.
  • Develop and manage a variety of projects, including updating editorial calendars, scoping assignments, editing content and providing feedback.
  • Pay close attention to content performance and adjust strategies to drive success.
  • Work with designers and our web production team to publish content.
  • Collaborate and introduce new ideas to drive business goals.
  • Write and/or edit on a daily basis.
  • Manage and execute incoming requests from other teams.

 

What We Need: 

  • 5+ years of experience managing content for a brand, agency or digital media company.
  • Well-versed in SEO best practices and growth marketing trends.
  • Ability to create content that simplifies unfamiliar topics and delights users.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of how content can influence customer experiences and purchase journeys.
  • Strong collaborator who can articulate strategies to drive the best results for the company.
  • Attention to detail and ability to move quickly to create, edit and distribute content.
  • Experience managing freelance writers and other contributors.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools.
  • Previous work experience with small businesses, insurance or financial services
  • Familiarity with AP style.

 

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the location(s) listed. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including, without limitation, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. NEXT employees are eligible to participate in our equity incentive program and will also receive our benefits package, consisting of our partially subsidized medical plan, fully subsidized vision/dental options, life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k), flexible paid time off, parental leave and more.

US annual base salary range for this full-time position:
$117,000$158,000 USD
