In this role you'll combine your knowledge in Scientific Research and Organizational Support together to coordinate the activities of routine and non-routine studies, in compliance with the appropriate company standards, GLP and regulatory guidelines in a timely, efficient manner. Provide general assistance to Study Directors will be an essential part of the role and additional non study specific support may be given to key clients.

**This position is not open to fully remote work, once fully trained (2-3 months) this can have a hybrid work arrangement offering 2 days a week remotely and 3 days in the Greenfield onsite location.

  • Provides administrative backup support for Study Directors on day to day study-specific activities or tasks.
  • Serves as a contact, along with the Study Director, in communication and interactions with other departments and clients, with assistance as applicable.
  • Maintains complete, organized, and current study files including study schedule, protocol, and applicable correspondence. Drafts protocols and amendments for Study Director Review and approval.
  • Ensures all client comments on protocols and amendments are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Verifies the project schedule accurately reflects the requirements of the protocol.
  • Initiates and submits scheduling request in CMS
  • Monitors study progress and assures that schedules are updated appropriately.
  • Schedules and participates in preinitiation and other study-related meetings, as required, and takes and distributes preinitiation meeting minutes.
  • Addresses and reviews quality assurance audits relating to protocols and amendments and reports (as applicable), with oversight. Follows up with appropriate personnel to ensure all necessary document/data clarifications are completed in the specified timelines.
  • Co-hosts client visit
  • Assists the Study Director in monitoring the financial status of ongoing studies, including completion of work scope changes as applicable Independently uses project tracking
  • Undertakes other administrative or scientific duties as assigned.
  • Assist SD by ensuring that Animal Order Forms are in place.
  • Communicate timelines to Principal Investigators (PI) and support groups as applicable.
  • Pay rate $22-$30 per hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Experience/Skills/Education

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent combination of education in a related science field. Experience may be substituted for education.
  • Highly prefer candidates with 1+ years of hands on (animal) preclinical research experince.
  • Prior experience working in DART (Developmental and Reproductive Toxicology) animal research studies is preferred but not required.
  • Preferred but not required is 1+ years of experience performing either preclinical or clinical research studies including reporting and submittal of data
  • Preferred but not required 1+ years of experience providing organizational and scientific support to research to study team preferred but not required.
