Are you a lab professional seeking new and great opportunities? Are you a leader with expertise in Toxicology lab testing? LabCorp is currently seeking a Lab Services Team Lead to join our Toxicology lab team in Burlington, NC!
The Toxicology Department at the Center for Esoteric Testing is a part of our specialty testing group. It's composed of four separate sections: Biological Monitoring, Therapeutic Drug monitoring, Megaloblastic Anemia Profile, Pain Management/Treatment Center Drug Screens, and Mass Spectrometry/Esoteric Testing.
The working schedule for this position will be: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
- Overseeing, directing, and assigning day to day workflow and operations.
- Managing specimen workflow, testing, and resulting.
- Handling instrument maintenance.
- Conducting inventory.
- Managing pending's and audits.
- Writing technical documents (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Troubleshooting and performing root/cause analysis resolutions on failed tests.
- Provides onsite, telephone or electronic consultation to laboratory personnel as needed.
- Maintains professional interaction with all staff.
- Supports other team members, trains staff, and motivates other in a positive manner.

Requirements:
- Must have a BA/BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or other related life science. Must meet state and federal regulations.
- 6 years of clinical laboratory experience.
- ASCP/AMT Certification preferred but not required.
- Previous leadership experience desired.
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access).
- Must be able to work in a team oriented environment.
- Excellent in time management and organization.
