KPMG is currently seeking a Director to join our Federal Advisory practice.
Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute on sales and growth strategies leveraging the firm's vision and values in support of the Federal Healthcare Accounts
  • Leverage existing trusted relationships, and building new relationships with key executives, at key client targets to position KPMG to secure future opportunities
  • Maintain and support existing KPMG client relationships to ensure complete satisfaction and long-term loyalty
  • Support delivery on key engagements, as a subject matter professional in federal healthcare
  • Serve a key thought leader within the practice, helping to understand key federal health and human services client priorities and vision, and to determine KPMG's strategy and approach in response
  • Identify new business opportunities, capturing, and assisting with proposal response
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of methodologies and intellectual capital including contributing to articles, whitepapers, and training efforts
  • Develop and publish thought leadership regarding healthcare within the federal context
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant work experience within federal healthcare management consulting / business development
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university
  • Experience directly supporting and developing business within Federal US Healthcare clients including at the Secretary, Administrator, or C-suite levels
  • Experience directly supporting Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
  • Demonstrated leadership, client management, and project management skills, along with a strong business development track record
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior-level executives
  • Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal government security clearance within a reasonable period of time, which requires U.S. citizenship
