LOCATION: REMOTE (EAST COAST)

This position reports to our global HQ in Cambridge, MA and is fully remote within the US. Travel is expected when needed and candidates located on the US East Coast are strongly preferred.

Who we are looking for:

As we continue to grow globally, we're looking for a strategic and impact-driven Senior Director, Solution Strategy & Delivery to join our Trial Design and Optimization (TDO) Team. Utilizing your deep understanding of project management frameworks and methodologies, you'll oversee all operational aspects of a wide range of projects in site identification and patient recruitment. You'll also leverage your clinical research and healthcare/life sciences management expertise to help drive internal strategic initiatives, establish best practices, and guide the team's short- and long-term business direction.

What you will be doing:

  • Drive internal strategic initiatives, including problem-solving, conducting research, and making recommendations on go-forward business strategy, partnership approach, optimal internal processes, and go-to-market approach, etc.
  • Support defining the overall offering set including products and wraparound services, including oversee the development of product strategies, balancing short-term and long-term priorities
  • Work directly with customers to deliver key messages around our solutions, understand needs, test strategies and roadmaps, and collect feedback
  • Manage all operational aspects of assigned projects in coordination with project leadership, including completion of on-time, high quality deliverables to achieve targeted project outcomes/milestones.
  • Work cross-functionally with industry sponsors, healthcare organizations, and internal teams to execute trial optimization, site identification, and patient recruitment projects
  • Establish best practices for short- and long-term project planning for Trial Design and Optimization team projects, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, and coordinating internal and external resources to successfully execute projects.
  • Manage a team of direct reports, providing ongoing guidance, support, performance evaluation, and training to all team members.
  • Support and evolve internal processes for pre-award activities, including proposal scoping and budgeting, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of project management experience, specifically related to clinical research at a clinical trial site, healthcare organization, biopharmaceutical company, or CRO.
  • Bachelor's degree in medicine, science, or health-related field.
  • Experience within a healthcare and/or life sciences management consulting environment will also be considered.
  • Extensive problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify problems, formulate hypotheses, conduct quantitative/qualitative research, make data-driven decisions, and develop fact-based recommendations
  • Experience driving product and solution strategy, including formulating value proposition to customers
  • Experience managing and mentoring team members and tracking individual team members' performance.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in:

The use of healthcare and patient data in RWE, including clinical information systems, EMR, claims, and epidemiology sources; and/or study site operations, site identification, and patient recruitment (including IRB approval, patient identification, pre-screening, screening, consent, and randomization/enrollment).

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize, make decisions under pressure, and manage multiple deadlines.
