About This Role
iRhythm is looking for a motivated individual with procurement and sourcing skills to join our Procurement team as a Procurement Specialist.

You should be a self-starter; someone able to work independently and be experienced in procurement, business management and project management. Must be an excellent communicator and a willing negotiator. Responsibilities will continue to grow and will provide the candidate opportunities to develop and strengthen leadership skills.
Specific job responsibilities include:
- Understand project deliverables and payables structure to craft Purchase orders
- Manage approval and maintain auditable documentation of purchase requisitions
- Develop relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders. They are our “customers.”
- Manage supplier lead times and drive them to meet business requirements
- Perform supplier set up tasks in ERP system
- Assist with other Business Operations and Integration projects, as needed
- Build and maintain interdepartmental relationships with Accounts Payable, Production, Intake, Materials, Shipping, Product Development, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, IT, HR, Facilities and Customer Care
About You:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, Business, or other Supply Chain related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience within a Supply Chain planning role such as procurement, strategic sourcing, forecasting, demand planning, capacity management, and/or optimization gained through work experience.
- At least 2 years of quantitative and qualitative data analysis experience with demonstrated impact to a business and the desire to create and build new processes.
- Experience managing timelines and working across functions in fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of end-to-end Supply Chain processes and principles.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- APICS certification a plus
- ISO 13485 a plus
- GMP knowledge a plus
- FDA and/or medical device experience a plus
- Experience working in QAD a plus
