  • We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to play a key role in the development and implementation of a sophisticated Asset Management System for a major organization.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in Software Asset Management, CMDB, dashboard development, and data integration to build a critical system providing real-time asset visibility and control across the United States.
  • You will be instrumental in customizing a leading Software Asset Management platform (e.g., ServiceNow), building dynamic dashboards, and integrating data from multiple enterprise systems.

  • Apply expert-level knowledge in Software Asset Management (SAM) principles and best practices.
  • Implement and customize recommended Software Asset Management modules (e.g., ServiceNow or similar platforms) to meet specific organizational requirements.
  • Utilize a deep understanding of CMDB (Configuration Management Database) for accurate asset tracking and seamless integration with other systems.
  • Design, develop, and implement efficient workflows, comprehensive reporting capabilities, and automation processes within the asset management system.
  • Build dynamic and user-friendly dashboards with advanced data visualization features, including geographic heat maps
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Industry.
  • Integrate real-time data from external databases (WebEOR, SEAM, OSL) into the software platform via APIs, ETL tools, or data connectors.
  • Implement intuitive drill-down menus and robust query-based search functionalities within the dashboard.
  • Demonstrate expertise in data cleaning, transformation, and consolidation from multiple disparate sources.
  • Ensure the highest levels of data integrity and consistency across all integrated systems.
  • Utilize strong knowledge of database systems, including both SQL and non-SQL databases, for effective data management.
  • Apply proven experience with database integration and querying tools.
  • Leverage expertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools to establish and maintain robust data pipelines between systems.
  • Ensure seamless real-time data synchronization across the asset management system and integrated platforms.
  • Provide necessary support for training end-users and facilitating comprehensive knowledge transfer.
  • May be required to perform support or software development activities for other related projects on an ad-hoc basis.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proven expertise in Software Asset Management (SAM) principles and practices is highly recommended.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and customizing Software Asset Management modules (e.g., ServiceNow or similar platforms) is essential.
  • A strong understanding of CMDB (Configuration Management Database) concepts and practical application for asset tracking and integration is required.
  • Must possess proficiency in designing and implementing workflows, reporting, and automation within enterprise systems.
  • Demonstrated skills in building dynamic dashboards with data visualization features such as heat maps are necessary.

  • Must be proficient in ensuring real-time data synchronization.
Educational Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education.

The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
