Job Description Summary
The Technical Instructor's primary role will be efficient & effective delivery of hands-on and class room training (Haliade 6MW/Haliade X) to GE Renewable Energy Offshore Wind field technicians and Sub-Contractor, as well as field engineers and Operations Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Teaching GE field personnel high-end technical training enabling them to work safely and efficiently in their job roles.
- Facilitating engaging learning sessions both in the classroom and remote via Teams and Virtual Reality.
- Evaluating and assessing peers to strengthen their development.
- Work with the "Training Standards & Development team" to maintain and design new materials as needed.
- Maintain training equipment
- We expect you to gain an understanding of the key business drivers and use this understanding to work within the local team, the wider global team and how to contribute to the success of our customers.
- Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
- Travel is required.

Required Qualifications
- Teaching skills - our baseline is the GWO Instructor Qualification Standard; if you have gained equivalent experience in a different way this will be recognized.
- Expert technical knowledge on wind turbines (preferably GE products).
- Electrical certification or degree.
- Demonstrate accountability to deliver - also in tough situations; in example equipment breakdown or participants not reaching the required learning goals.
- Proficiency in other languages ( e.g. Spanish, German) would be a bonus
