Senior Technology Architect - Java, Springboot, Microservices and AWS

Minimum 15 years of total IT experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks

Minimum 8 years of experience in Java full stack, Springboot and Microservices

Minimum 6 years of AWS based Cloud Architecture and migration skills

Experience in AWS services technologies and practices, building applications using services such as AWS EC2, ECS, IAM, Lambda, EMR, Cloud Formation, and CHEF

Roles and Responsibilities - For Senior Technology Architect

Essential
• Engage with business owners to understand their priorities, value drivers and needs.
• Provide well-conceived, clearly articulated, pragmatic solutions and recommendations to complex business problems.
• Provide high end consulting services to stakeholders across the client domains to ensure the delivery of strategic outcomes.
• Responsible for the development of solutions for one or more complex portfolios/domains to ensure effective solutions are designed in accordance with business value priorities, business requirements, client's standards and technology strategy.
• Responsible for facilitating high quality, timely technology estimates for solutions and roadmaps to ensure effective technology estimation of technology solutions.
• Identify opportunities to resolve complex problems, deliver value, optimise benefits and reduce the cost base.
• Responsible for business and technology collaboration and ensure effective engagement with various delivery partners.
• Own, source and manage solution architecture outcomes, develop documentation and obtain approval from key stakeholders
• Identify and facilitate the resolution of architecture decisions and issues through the solution architecture and delivery phases
• Apply expert knowledge of systems and best practices to inform project team on optimal designs to ensure high quality solutions are delivered to the business
• Define the architecture policies, standards, processes, reference architectures, and solution and architecture building blocks for the enterprise and drive governance thereof
• Knowledge of Retail and Consumer Banking industry from high level functional perspective
• Knowledge and awareness of emerging technology trends and solutions relevant to Banking and FS industry
• Evaluate and review Design Frameworks and Methodologies and approve design in order to achieve functional and non-functional requirements and conformance to the established architecture guidelines and principles
• Deep understanding of API management, trends of digital architecture
• Deep understanding of Business Architecture, Data Architecture, Application Architecture, Technology Architecture and Security Architecture
• Good understanding of SDLC including Waterfall, Agile and DevOps
• Should be able work with solution and enterprise architects and derive complete solution
Desirable
• Ability to conduct comprehensive analysis of key business and technology trends in the banking industry to arrive at the solution
• Knowledge of security and data architecture applicable for banking domain
