Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP Business Objects Consultant
This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose, and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
- Location of the requirement is Irving TX. Candidate should be working from the location.
We are looking for a skilled SAP BO consultant with 11+ years of experience in designing, developing and supporting SAP BO reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Web Intelligence (WebI), Crystal Reports, Lumira Designer, Analysis for Office and Universe Design. The consultant will collaborate with business users, functional teams and technical teams to deliver high-performance Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
SAP BO Tools Expertise:
Proficiency in Web Intelligence (WebI), Crystal Reports, Lumira Designer, Analysis for Office, Universe Design Tool (UDT) and Information Design Tool (IDT).
SAP Data Connectivity:
Experience working with SAP BW, SAP HANA and SQL-based databases.
Performance Optimization:
Skills in report tuning, query optimization and universe performance improvements.
Should have worked on at least 3 implementation and 1 support project for SAP BO.
BO Version:
Must have hands on experience with BO BI 4.2/BI 4.3 versions.
Basic SQL Knowledge:
Good understanding of databases like Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server etc.
Ability to write queries, joins and stored procedures for data extraction.
Define joins, cardinality, derived tables and aggregate awareness in universe design.
Additional Knowledge (Good to have):
Experience in SAP Analytics Cloud / Tableau / Power BI will be an added advantage.
Communication Skills:
Strong communication skills and analysis skills.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements
