Introduction

In this role, you'll work within Q2C&OPS Team, where we evaluate and test internal controls related to reporting in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and to verify that controls are operating effectively with the current execution processes . This role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions to address control deficiencies.

Your role and responsibilities

The role of SOX Tester is to evaluate and test internal controls related to reporting in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and to verify that controls are operating effectively with the current execution processes . This role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions to address control deficiencies. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, along with fluency in the English and Chinese language.

1. Validate minimum sample size based on CBC guidance and control frequency at least annually

2. Validate Control Description/Objective/Risk/testing attribute to ensure consistence with current execution processes

3. Proactive participate in global BC review for Control point and take full ownership of the review

4. Independently generate testing universe and select samples according to sample methodology

5. Obtain artifacts and perform SOX testing according to testing plan in the tool, using re-performance testing approach

6. Participate in potential defect clarification, request for additional artifacts where necessary

7. Participate in defect discussion and finalize defect with execution team. Identify root causes, recommend action plans and secondary controls

8. Review action plans and secondary controls provided by the execution teams in both center and country

9. Record testing result along with all supporting documents in WWBCIT and follow up with action owners to ensure timely closure of action plans

10. Perform remediation testing for control deficiencies

11. Support PWC , internal audits and reviews when required

12. Support projects voluntarily

13. Periodically review testing DLP to be consistent with both testing plan, and Q2C execution process

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

1. Proficiency in both verbal and written English

2. Strong command of Chinese communication, with the ability to read Traditional Chinese

3. Effective Communication with strong problem-solving capabilities

4. Strong analytical skills, with a logical approach and design-thinking mindset

5. Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational needs

6. A growth mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt in uncertain environments

7. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of management

8. High level of self-motivation and a strong sense of ownership

9. Exceptional time management and organizational skills
