Your role and responsibilities
- Understand technical requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
- Implement code changes as per the requirement and ensure correct execution throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Provide development support during testing, production deployment, and post-production support.
- Ensure error-free coding and delivery for the testing phase.
- Maintain effective communication with business analysts, testers, and other stakeholders.
- Guide the project team daily and provide regular status updates to the client.
- Manage application maintenance with precise and clear communication to end users.

Required technical and professional expertise
- Experience Level: 4 to 6 years of IT experience as a software developer, including at least 4 years of hands-on experience in COBOL mainframes.
- Strong understanding of the SDLC lifecycle.
- Experience in application maintenance for any domain.
- Hands-on experience with Ingenium.
- Sound knowledge of MF Cobol, including coding, debugging, and deployment across different environments.
- Familiarity with quality processes.
- Adequate understanding of insurance domain concept
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to ensure stakeholder and client satisfaction.
- Exposure to Web Services and PX.
- Understanding of project management tools like MS Project, Jira, Trello, or similar.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
