Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing – Long Term Care to lead and manage the nursing services within our CCC. This role reports to the CNO/COO and ensures the highest standards of resident care, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and staff development. The Director will play a critical role in shaping patient outcomes and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for all nursing functions within the CCC.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures in accordance with Tenet standards.
- Supervise nursing managers and ensure high-quality clinical care through daily rounds and performance monitoring.
- Lead emergency response efforts with poise and clinical judgment.
- Prepare and manage the operational and capital budgets for the department.
- Represent nursing leadership in interdisciplinary care conferences and committee meetings.
- Drive quality initiatives through monthly CQI participation and quarterly CCC performance reviews.
