Working as Workforce Coordinator at GXO Logistics - Heerlen
As a Workforce Coordinator you have a crucial role in the process. You are the connecting linkbetween employment agencies and the operation. Based on the combination of the forecast provided by our customer and the current figures from the internaldepartments, as a Workforce Coordinator you take care of the day, week and long-term planning. In the event of scheduledeviations (no shows, absenteeism), you immediately contact employment agencies and make adjustments where necessary. In addition, you determine the intake requirement (maintenance pool) as well as the development and training needs of Flex workers. You report directly to the Operations andthe Workforce Managers. You work independentlybut you in close cooperationwith various departments within the organization.

What you do on a typical day
- You have daily operational meetings with employment agencies, Warehouse managers and the Operational Manager. Everythingmust be agreed and planned and your current figures keptup to date
- You ran monthly and quarterly consultations with employment agencies
- You manageand monitorKPI's determined with employment agencies
- You superviseand steerproductivity through meetings and input from the floor
- You keepan overview of all competencies per person (competency metrics in Excel)
- You deliverweekly overview with all figures and hours in Excel to the employment agencies
- Together with the Warehouse Managers, you determinethe takeover of temporary employees based on hours worked and performance. You work closely with the HR Department
- You follow through on SLA's
- You carryout quarterly auditsand reportthe results to the Workforce Manager
What you need to succeed at GXO
- You have a very accurate and analytical working method, you are communicative and proactive! With your critical and foresighted view, you identify the consequences of certain actions in good time and you think along about solutions.
- You can deal with dynamics well and you can quickly communicate with involved parties
- You have the HBO work and thinking level
- You have a good command of Excel
- You are alert, accurate, stress resistant, flexible and have great problem-solving skills
- You have a healthy dose of energy and humor!
- You have acommand of English language (Dutch is also required)
- Preferably you are aware of laws and regulations regarding the planning of FTE (Working Hours Act)
- Preferably you have knowledge of the WAB (Law on the Balanced Labor Market)andknowledge on collective bargaining agreement for temporary workers
