About this Role:

GoodRx is seeking a dynamic and visionary SVP & Head of Benefits Solutions to lead and expand our strategy for delivering innovative, cost-effective pharmacy benefit solutions to funded beneficiaries. This role will work alongside passionate, mission driven colleagues to help shape the future of pharmacy benefits and make a meaningful impact on medication affordability and access.

This executive leader will be responsible for driving our B2B strategy to deliver GoodRx benefits to funded beneficiaries. This includes managing our integrated savings program (ISP) with PBMs as well as expanding to deliver other innovative pharmacy benefit solutions for funded beneficiaries. Furthermore, this individual will drive partnership and innovation with pharmacy ecosystem constituents to drive novel go-to-market approaches that lower cost and improve value - this involves bringing together PBMs, plan sponsors, pharma, and the pharmacy network. This individual will drive the strategy and business development efforts with PBMs, payers, employers, plan sponsors, TPAs, consultants, and related entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the overarching strategy to profitably grow all B2B pharmacy benefit solutions at GoodRx
  • Manage existing ISP PBM clients in partnership with the Head of Network
  • Expand the B2B pharmacy benefit solution set to include innovation around non-covered drugs, new payment methods, and other innovation that will resonate in the pharmacy benefit market
  • Partner with the Head of Trade and the pharma manufacturer solutions team to drive innovation solutions for brand drug with plan sponsors and PBMs
  • Manage potential channel conflict between PBMs and plan sponsors as the GoodRx B2B solution set expands
  • Create and execute a long-term strategy that will grow GoodRx's B2B solution set with PBMs, payers, employers, plan sponsors, TPAs, consultants, and related entities
  • Partner with legal to align on how GoodRx positions itself relative to insurance licensure and the regulatory environment pertaining to benefits

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree strongly preferred; 18-20 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefits or health tech; strong preference for experience with PBM, payers, or employer-sponsored benefits. This individual should have demonstrated success building relationships and executing contracts with pharmacy ecosystem partners that have produced results that have benefitted both parties.
  • This individual should demonstrate a deep understanding of the financial and economic levers within the key pharmacy ecosystem partners' P&L
  • 10+ years of pharmacy, PBM, and pharma executive-level experience with a broad network of relationships across the pharmacy and pharmacy benefit ecosystem
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy benefit design for plan sponsors and industry trends that create room for innovation to improve the experience
  • 10+ years of experience leading a team with cross functional interdependencies
  • 10+ years of large P&L ownership experience

At GoodRx, pay ranges are determined based on work locations and may vary based on where the successful candidate is hired. The pay ranges below are shown as a guideline, and the successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant business and organizational factors. San Francisco and Seattle Offices:
$332,000.00 - $532,000.00

New York Office:
$305,000.00 - $487,000.00

Santa Monica Office:
$277,000.00 - $443,000.00

Other Office Locations:
$249,000.00 - $399,000.00
