Maven is seeking a strategic, execution-oriented SVP of Product to lead the vision, development, and delivery of our product strategy and roadmap. This role will define business requirements, prioritize features and functionality, establish development timelines, and guide the product team from concept through launch and iteration. Reporting to the Chief Product & Operating Officer, the ideal candidate brings deep expertise in workflow-focused SaaS platforms, a passion for operational excellence, and a strong track record of building products that solve real-world customer challenges.

They are adept at navigating changing market dynamics and emerging technologies - including artificial intelligence - to deliver innovative, best-in-class solutions at scale. This leader will play a critical role in shaping Maven’s AI strategy, identifying opportunities to integrate AI to enhance user experience, automate workflows, and unlock new value across the platform.

As a SVP, Product at Maven, you will: 

  • Lead a high-performing Product Management function rooted in user-centric design, data-informed decision-making, and agile development methodologies. Cultivate a high performance culture that embodies core Maven values, with an emphasis on a moving fast and walking through walls
  • Bring absolute member obsession with a passion for minding every detail of the user journey. You understand how to deliver not just a delightful experience but how to evoke an emotional reaction
  • Champion AI at Maven. Enable teams across the company to deliver value more quickly by introducing the most impactful AI tools. Incorporate AI to improve existing value drivers while also making big bets with agentic AI that better supports members while enabling our teams to scale more effectively.
  • Evolve Maven’s multi-year product vision and roadmap, painting an aspirational future state that inspires the team to deliver products that meaningfully impact the health of our members while ensuring alignment with company growth objectives, platform scalability, and customer needs.
  • Partner closely with the executive team and leaders across commercial and clinical teams to translate business strategy into product strategy and roadmap, prioritizing investments that deliver maximum impact across stakeholder and user groups.
  • Oversee PM teams delivering products for Maven members as well as internal teams that develop detailed product requirements for new features, enhancements, and platform initiatives—ensuring quality, clarity, and cross-functional alignment.

We’re looking for you to bring:

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive product management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or executive leadership role at a consumer technology company.
    • Bonus: You have also led Product high-growth SaaS and AI/ML-powered company.
  • Demonstrated success in owning the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and customer discovery to launch, optimization, and sunset.
  • Experience developing AI-driven features or products, including model deployment, ethical considerations, and responsible AI practices.
  • Strong background in data-driven decision-making, including proficiency in leveraging product analytics, A/B testing, and user insights to guide product direction.
  • Proven ability to build and scale high-performing product organizations, including hiring, mentoring, and developing top talent.
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies, customer acquisition funnels, and monetization models in a B2B and/or B2B2C context.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; adept at influencing C-level executives, board members, and cross-functional peers.

The base salary range for this role is $350,000-$400,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.

Maven embraces a flexible hybrid work model. Our teams primarily operate from the New York Metropolitan area, NY, San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C. For those in our New York City office, we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to work onsite three days a week  (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). For those based in San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C., we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to attend quarterly Work Together Days within these cities. This policy aims to balance remote work flexibility with the benefits of face-to-face interaction.
