GSI Regional Services Leader - North Europe

As North Europe Regional Services leader, you have the overall responsibility of the Grid Solutions GSI Services activities in terms of :

-Safety
-Commercial orders intake (O/I) growth
-Operations, delivery, supply-chain & project execution
-Strategy, Growth and business development
-Quality & Customer Satisfaction

You own the overall performance and customer satisfaction, putting safety first, delivering "best in class" service experience and improving profitability.

Job Description

Main responsibilities

  • Put safety first, leading by example and making GE standards are applied across GE employees and contractors.
  • Define the Service strategy in the Region and build and deploy corresponding growth plan in close cooperation with the commercial teams, taking into account market specifics and global Service strategy
  • Lead operationally (dotted lines) the Service teams in the region in close cooperation with each Region function leader, ensuring a cohesive, empowered and accountable team
  • Manage the full Service regional activities, with strong focus on S, Q, D, C, while ensuring team is capable of delivering on-time commercial, technical and field service solutions.
  • Work closely with commercial team to define commercial targets, set the right capture plans to secure key deals in line with the commercial strategy, and deliver on commercial budget
  • Define and implement the sizing, footprint and competency plan to allow for growth, localization, and customer support while optimizing costs and organization structure
  • Ensure that Service Units in the region are well connected and coordinated with the rest of the organization, both within and outside Grid Solutions
  • Implement processes and operating rhythm in both ITO and OTR in order to achieve quality, On Time Deliveries, and Lead Time Reduction. Set objectives and implement the right KPIs to measure progress.
  • Drive performance and productivity improvements across the region by focusing on Lean Principles as root cause problem solving, deployment of standard work programs and closely monitoring metrics.
  • Develop the team and talent pipeline

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent with > extensive and demonstrated relevant experience
  • Experience in business leadership, ability to run a P&L
  • Business understanding (market knowledge in area of work, intl. exposure & awareness)
  • Experience in Project Management of complex projects and/or Services leadership
  • General knowledge of Transmission and Distribution
  • Exceptional ability to drive change
  • Ability to influence others and lead large teams
  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills.

Organization

  • Directly reporting to the GSI Region Leader
  • Functional reporting to GSI Services & Construction Leader
