Description
The Role:
Analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical problems in manufacturing. Complete engineering projects related to electrical controls and programming. Ability to work autonomously with occasional guidance from supervision.
This is a first shift opportunity with occasional overtime and weekend support required.
- Technical resource for plant electricians
- Supervise project installations by contractors and plant electricians.
- Develop and plan electrical projects.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical problems in manufacturing operation.
- Design and modify electrical control circuits and programs.
- Support plant continuous improvement activity.
- Experience with manufacturing process equipment, knowledge of systems engineering and hardware integration.
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
- High level of interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Electrical engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in industrial networking protocols - Profibus, Profinet, TCP/IP and EthernetIP
- HMI software - Siemens WinCC and TIA Portal and Rockwell Factory Talk
- PLC hardware - Rockwell ControlLogix family and Siemens 300
- Servo drive systems - Siemens 840D CNC and Siemens S120 family
- Fanuc Robotics - programming and troubleshooting desirable, but not required.
- Vision Systems - programming and troubleshooting desirable, but not required.
