To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Technical Design Program Manager, located in Stuttgart, Germany site .

Reporting to the Sr Director for Design, Process and Technology Engineering, the Technical Design Program Manager will be responsible for providing program management for Pursuit Engineering, leading a cross functional, technical team in the delivery of quotes and technical design reviews, leading the team to win major quotes.

What a typical day looks like:

• Lead cross functional team of design engineers, validation engineers, supply chain, and manufacturing to deliver a technical proposal and competitive quote responses for challenging opportunities.
• Quote opportunities will be in new areas of product development with industry leading technological solutions.
• Drive Best Cost solution.
• Lead cross functional team to deliver technical design review package to communicate Flex's technical solution to customers' engineering community.
• Track quote project issues, and drive them to closure. Escalate to leadership team as needed.
• Lead team in "Pre engagement" with customers to build relationships and technical knowledge to solve future quoting opportunities.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• BS/MS in Electrical, Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
• Senior Systems Engineering experience
• Relevant experience as a Project Manager in full product development lifecycle projects from design inception to mass production
• Previous design experience in one or more of the technical areas related to Automotive, Connectivity or electro-mechanical systems development.
• Highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills, initiative, superior problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and willingness to learn and adapt
