Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing across multiple states, working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The role requires hands-on experience with ADP Enterprise, union payroll processing, and an in-depth understanding of payroll compliance regulations.

Process bi-weekly, multi-state payrolls for over 30,000 US/PR employees.

Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local payroll tax laws and garnishment regulations.

Validate payroll inputs and outputs in coordination with ADP Managed Services.

Audit payroll entries, process legal agreements, vacation payouts, and complex transactions (e.g., Expats, Stock Options).

Manage time and attendance systems, including union CBA and time configuration.

Handle employee payroll inquiries and resolve escalated issues.

Support internal and external audits, including documentation and remediation.

Collaborate with HR and Finance to aggregate data for payroll processing.

Use ServiceNow to manage and resolve service tickets.

Participate in payroll-related projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and continuous process improvements.

Contribute to developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures and process documentation.
Required Skills & Experience

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum of 3 years in a fast-paced payroll position.

Strong understanding of wage and hour compliance (Federal, State, Local).

Expertise in high-volume payroll processing.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience using ADP Enterprise System.

Familiarity with time and attendance entries, edits, and configurations.

Previous union payroll processing experience.

Strong written/verbal communication skills and high integrity.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.

Experience using Workday HRIS.

Background working with third-party payroll vendors.

Understanding of HR and Finance interdependencies in payroll.

Experience using ServiceNow.
-
Knowledge of union CBA and time configuration requirements.

Prior experience in shared services or large-scale enterprise environments.
