Innovation is at the heart of what we do and for this reason we are actively seeking to hire a Program Manager to take responsibility for the planning, implementation, tracking, and successful delivery of multiple projects for our Global Products and Solutions (GPS) organization.

This area of the organization is responsible for the strategic research and development of new products and solutions for both mechatronic and software applications. They are the driving force behind Dematic innovation and as a Program Manager, you will be working closely with project managers, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to ensure that the programs are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for daily management through the life cycle of the program.
  • Define the program controls (to include an open issue log), or the processes, procedures, reporting, etc., to manage the program.
  • Plan overall program and monitor progress ensuring milestones are met across managed projects and programs.
  • Responsible for all reporting at the program level including things like program reviews, program dashboards, executive updates, etc.
  • Manage the risks and issues that might arise over the course of the program life cycle and take measures to correct them when they occur.
  • Responsible for escalation of risks to key leadership along with providing various solutions to mitigate the risk.
  • Coordinate the projects and their interdependencies between the various projects and programs in the program.
  • Manage the core team across the various projects and programs in the program.
  • Report out to stakeholders who are involved in the projects and programs in the program.
  • Ensure deliverables are aligned across the projects and programs in the program and ensure they meet the quality standards set by the company.
  • Manage the program documentation and ensure that it is up-to-date and accurate.
  • In the current state, they pull budget data from the PowerBI dashboard owned by Finance and Operations. In the future state, they manage the program budget.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Strong project management experience with large/complex NPI or R&D natured projects.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with appropriate experience.
  • Forthcoming with new ideas and an internal drive to implement continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex topics into simple language for a wide range of audiences.
  • Broad knowledge of project and program management methodologies.
  • Understand the wider objectives of the program, such as business and strategic goals.
  • Require the ability to work with a wide range of individuals.
  • In our future state, they need a strong knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures. Today, our budget is managed by the Product Managers and the resources are managed by the discipline leadership.
