Responsibilities

  • Develop, build, and implement Salesforce Data Cloud instances in conjunction with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Engage/Personalize) or Salesforce Sales/Service
  • Drive end-to-end project execution, encompassing analysis, documentation, solution development, testing, and performance, to meet client expectations.
  • Identify technical design and data model risks, confirm their validity, and devise strategies to mitigate them.
  • Actively participate in technical design and data model workshops alongside Engineering Teams and business stakeholders.
  • Clearly translate and communicate technical requirements and solutions to the business using story-based narratives, and present strategies and recommendations to executives.
  • Leverage knowledge of new and upcoming features in the Salesforce ecosystem to recommend more efficient solutions.
  • Ensure that technical documentation is consistently updated through active participation in technical workshops.
  • Adhere strictly to established project planning methodologies and Agile development processes.
  • Lead sessions to understand client needs in technical marketing and Salesforce Data Cloud requirements, and act as a crucial technical resource throughout the implementation process.
  • Assess client requirements, propose effective solutions, and communicate the capabilities and limitations of Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud Engage, Personalization, Intelligence, Sales, Service and other relevant SF ecosystem platforms.
  • Identify client process pain points and gaps in current best practices.
  • Function as a technical solution specialist within the Salesforce Data Cloud ecosystem, including components like Data streams, Unified Data Model, Transformations/Insights, Identity Resolution, Segmentations, Activations, Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Cloud Pages, Ad Studio, Site mapping, Website personalization
  • Develop, oversee, and maintain key data model, segmentation, architecture, code documentation, and technical specifications for designated workstreams.
  • Lead the development and physical design of solutions, guide the development team, and ensure the system's architectural integrity.
  • Manage workstreams in large-scale enterprise implementations, focusing on Salesforce Data Cloud architecture and data models.
  • Implement Salesforce Data Cloud, emphasizing data modeling, performance optimization, and integrations.
  • Oversee and coordinate testing activities, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), in line with the project's scope.

Our team brings deep experience in creative and digital marketing capabilities, many from our Digital Studios.

We serve our clients through the following types of work:

  • Cross-channel customer engagement strategy, design, and development.
  • eCommerce strategy, implementation, and operations.
  • Marketing content and digital asset management solutions.
  • Marketing technology and advertising technology solutions.
  • Marketing analytics implementation and operations.
  • Advertising and acquisition campaign development and execution.
  • Agile, design-thinking, user-centric projects that drive results.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience with at least 1 end-to-end Salesforce Data Cloud implementation
  • 2+ years in marketing automation, data model and architecture in the Salesforce ecosystem
  • 3+ years in consulting, marketing project implementation, or project management using Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serv
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

2+ years in the following:

  • Customer Data Modeling best practices
  • Salesforce cross-cloud integrations
  • Proficiency in moderately complex SQL queries
  • Experience in integrating with cloud-based data warehouses/data lakes (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks..)

Preferred:

  • Experience with Marketing Cloud Personalization
  • Experience with Segmentation strategy
  • Experience with Adobe, Marketo, Oracle or other enterprise marketing automation or CDP platforms.
  • Experience with SOQL
  • Front-end coding skills (HTML, CSS/SASS, Typescript, React, XML, JSON).
  • Salesforce certifications (Marketing Cloud Administrator/Consultant/Email Specialist, Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant).
  • Effective presentation skills to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,325 to $188,875.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
